Burney Falls

Six miles north of Highway 299 on Highway 89 near Burney is this spectacular sight!

Burney Creek originates from the park’s underground springs and flows to Lake Britton, getting larger along the way to the majestic 129-ft falls.

Heaven and Earth

This was so awesome in person.  The pond was like a mirror at that time of day, reflecting the mountains perfectly.

I turned a similar flower photo into this “poster” image using an on-line image enhancing site.  I quite like it.
